While Saturday’s Riverboat Day’s Extravaganza ended with a fireworks display. People gathered in their viewing locations from all over Terrace. Our viewing location wasn’t that spectacular. Watch the video by clicking here.

Comment by Stephen on 11th August 2012 Before Riverboat days existed the Kinsmen Club used to put on a fireworks display off of the now arena hill. It was much more accessible to the public with young children and the aged. It is just a thought to consider to move it back there where more people can enjoy it without the hassle of night driving and traffic congestion.
Comment by GH on 10th August 2012 The fireworks have always been down at Ferry Island.
Comment by Mike on 9th August 2012 There were lots of people in the Walmart parking lot and in the PNG parking lot, I saw more than one parent sitting in their car with an open bottle of liquor tucked between their legs while their kids sat in car seats behind them. You couldn't see about half of the fireworks from either PNG or Walmart because the fireworks didn't go above the trees. It seemed like the only people who really got a good show were those camping on Ferry Island.
Comment by Stephen on 9th August 2012 Can we not move this 12 minutes of excitment back to the Arena hill where it was done for the past 30 years? More people can watch from their homes including the seniors and not have a traffic nightmare. Common sense people.
