Dawson Creek RCMP
On August 30th 2012 the Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a report of a Taxi driver who had been stabbed in the throat by a female customer.
The driver of the taxi, a 64 year old male resident of the Dawson Creek area, had driven himself to the hospital where it was determined that he had a deep slash to his neck. The cab driver required stitches to close the wound and was released from the hospital. He is expect to make a full recovery.
The female suspect, a 23 year old resident of Dawson Creek, has been arrested and is awaiting a bail hearing at the Dawson Creek RCMP Detachment as the investigation continues.
