Latest as of 5 pm is power on at 6pm

Much of Terrace is without power this afternoon. It has been reported trees have fallen across power lines during a high wind event.

Much of the North side bench areas remain with electricity but the downtown core and rural areas south and east including Usk and Lakelse Lake are in the dark.

Update 4:00 pm

The restoration of power is now expected to be 4:30pm for downtown and 6:00pm for Thornhill and Lakelse areas.
