A 21 yr old man received an immediate roadside suspension when he drove to the RCMP detachment drunk on Monday, October 8.
An RCMP member detected the smell of alcohol emitting from a person while speaking with him at the front counter of the detachment. The person admitted that he had been drinking the night before. It was now noon.
The man exited the detachment and then proceeded to get into the driver’s seat of a green 1997 Jeep Cherokee and attempt to drive away. Police pulled the vehicle over. He failed a roadside screening device, twice. He was issued an immediate roadside suspension and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Through a complex set of chemical interactions with chemicals of the human brain, one effect of alcohol consumption is the denial of oxygen to every cell in the human body.
When brain cells are denied oxygen.....voila!...... instant stupidity.
