Terrace RCMP
The Terrace RCMP have responded to approximately 29 calls for service from November 6, 8 AM till November 7, 8 AM. During the same time period there were three prisoners. None of these prisoners were lodged for public intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

two vehicle collision on Lakelse Ave. A red Dodge pickup truck was struck by a blue Jeep pulling out of a parking lot. There was minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries.

Elsewhere Terrace

false cellular 911 call from NWCC

possible breach. Police determined that the man was not in breach.

a blue 2006 Hyundai Elantra was damaged while parked at the A&W on Keith Ave. It appears a person attempted to enter the vehicle and damaged the door seal.

persons at a residence on Scott Ave wanted a man to come out because he had stolen a purse from them. The man was refusing to come out and locked himself in a bathroom. Police attended and spoke with the 23 yr old man in the bathroom. He admitted to stealing the purse and dumping the contents in the garbage can of the menís washroom at Tim Hortonís. Police had received a call on this man and incident earlier in the night. A man carrying a cane had attempted to sell medication at an apartment. A woman noticed her purse missing after he left. The woman identified the man after making enquires around town. Charges of theft are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

harassment investigation.

theft investigation. An amount of money is going missing from a bank account on a monthly basis.

vehicle registration, alcohol, and an electronic device were found on Graham Ave.

a man requested to run an extension cord to his neighborís because his power is shut off. When he was denied he became belligerent and refused to leave.

a man dropped off his children by driving into a driveway. This is in breach of a court order. Under investigation.

assault investigation that occurred at Parkside School.

Thornhill

a suspicous flat tire on Queensway Dr, the sixth one in the last 3 months.

a man attended to a residence on River Dr and threatened another man and accused him of having his fatherís jacket. He left prior to police attendance.

Rural

alarm at the airport. Police attended. A passenger had attempted to board a plane with brass knuckles. Police seized the prohibited weapon.

a 30 yr old woman was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.

erratic driver in a grey 1994 Honda Accord on Hwy 37 near Mount Layton Hot Springs. Checks were done of area.

breach of undertaking. A man did not leave when a woman asked him to. The 38 yr old man was arrested for breach. The people involved were not cooperative with police.

fraud investigation. Police determined it to be a civil matter regarding separation issues.

abandoned vehicle on Hwy 113 at Goat Creek. Police spoke with the registered owner.
