Terrace RCMP are currently investigating a Motor Vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The 20 year old victim, from Prince George B.C. was in Terrace for a funeral.
On December 15th, 2012 at approximately 5pm, Terrace RCMP were notified that a pedestrian was struck by the mirror of a passing pick up truck. The 30 year old driver was sober and cooperative with police.
The victim was taken to the Terrace Hospital where he regained consciousness and was reportedly able to walk around. His condition soon changed and dramatically declined due to a possible brain injury. The male was flown to Vancouver Hospital for specialized medical treatment.

Terrace RCMP and the Integrated Collision Analyst and Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate the collision.
