NEWS RELEASE · 17th December 2012
The Coast Mountains School District wishes to advise parents, caregivers, students and staff that all Hazelton schools and bus runs will operate as usual tomorrow December 18 and until further notice. This follows Hazelton school closures today as a result of an RCMP Advisory to remove students and staff from school to ensure their safety.
The school district thanks families and the community for their patience and cooperation today.

Don't worry ... you did not contain yourself ... and until you know the circumstances of this individual's situation, you may want to breath and count to ten before you press send. There were several 'copy cat' types of alters around north America as a result of the horrific situtation in Conn.
A very angry grandparent

As a grandparent of 2 children that attend one of the schools in Hazelton I hope the ingnorant anmimal that threatened the schools in Hazelton is not let off easily he should be charged with being a Terrorist and be put away for a very long time. Don't give me that bleeding heart stuff about him having some sort of mental illness enough is enough when someone threatens the lives and safety of children in a school he is a danger to society as awhole and should be put away permenantly. I do not want to hear that my grandkids have been murdered because a selfish sick minded individual has his rights. Dam his rights when it comes to the safety of the children in any community. I am so pissed off I can barely contain myself, it is time for the legal system and our elected government to start cracking down on the criminal element that targets children. If they don't then we need to find ourselves government representatives that will start making laws that will truly protect our children.
