Terrace Little Theatre
Now the holiday season is out of the way, Terrace Little Theatre is hair straight back with its dinner theatre production just in time for a Valentine’s Day opening at the Skeena Valley Golf & Country Club.

First-time director Alan Weston has chosen a little gem of a play called “Sexy Laundry” written by Michele Riml. The side-splittingly funny and tender comedy features a middle-age married couple, Alice and Henry. They have been married 25 years, forever, too long, whatever.

Alice has taken their stale relationship by the horns and booked them into the posh “L” hotel to revive their flagging … ahem, spirits.

The talented Cheryl Spencer (“Jack and the Beanstalk”, “Rutabaga Ranger Rides Again” and “Ladies in Retirement”) plays a very determined Alice and ever-charming John Dafoe (“The Odd Couple: Female Version” and “Bella Donna”) tackles the reluctant Henry. Stage management is in the capable hands of Julie Jacobs with Eryn Griffith designing the lights.

“Sexy Laundry” runs February 14, 15, 16 and 22, 23 and March 1, 2, 8 and 9th. Tickets are $45 at Uniglobe Courtesy Travel. The two act play includes a delicious meal before the 8.00 pm show and dessert at intermission. Doors open at 6.30 for drinks with dinner at 7.00.

Tickets are expected to sell at a brisk pace so don't delay if you want a real treat.

SIDE NOTE: For those who were lucky enough to receive vouchers (gift certificates) as stocking-stuffers or as Christmas presents please note you MUST go to Uniglobe Travel ahead of time and exchange them for a real ticket to get in to the show. The voucher itself cannot be presented at the door as seating is numbered and reserved.
