I would like to know each candidate's position on treaties between the Canadian government and First Nations, past and present. I would like to hear their hollow and superficial opinions on these matters.

It is plain as the political noses on their faces that not one signed treaty has been respected by any Canadian political party in office....and modern-day treaty processes are illegal, and therefore invalid. Example: The Tsimshian Nation, as a whole, did not allow itself to consider engaging in the treaty process. Reasons: (1.) The government did/does not recognize Tsimshian ownership of our land in the first place. (2.) The government does not believe Tsimshian have inhabited this land for 30,000 + years. They like to say we too are immigrants, who somehow came from Mongolia, or thereabouts. (3.) Legal and valid treaties are negotiated between/among NATIONS!

Currently, the country of Canada is negotiating treaties with puny, little Tsimshian villages! One at a time.

Liberals and Conservatives simply pass the Indian baton from one to the nauseum.

And thus far, no meaningful comments or protestations from the NDP peanut gallery. When it comes to Canadian First Nations people and treaties, all poltical parties see eye-to-eye.

"Oh yes but....our party... blah, blah, blah!"
Yeah right.
