The Terrace RCMP have responded to approximately 34 calls for service from May 6, 8 AM till May 7, 8 AM. During this time period there have been eight people lodged in Terrace Cells. Six of these people were lodged for public intoxication.
false 911 call. Police tracked down the phone owner to Skeena Middle School. A friend dialed 911 to see if it would work. Discussion was had with the youths about proper use of 911.
a black backpack with contents found at Dairy Queen. Police have contacted the owner.
two reports of a suicidal man on the Old Bridge. Police spoke with the 33 yr old man who agreed to accompany police to the hospital.
police were called to assist BC Ambulance with a patient who was verbally abusive to dispatch. The highly intoxicated man had fallen out of bed. BC Ambulance tucked the man back into bed while police maintained peace.
man passed out near North Coast Anglers. Checks were done of the area.
domestic assault. A man hit another man with a piece of wood causing injury to his face. A 26 yr old man was arrested for assault. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
assist Mills Memorial Hospital with an AWOL patient. The 58 yr old man was located a short distance away and escorted back to the hospital.

a man was making concerning queries with pharmacy staff. Police spoke with the 57 yr old man and his family
single motor vehicle collision. A blue 2000 Dodge Flat Deck truck was turning around at Davis Ave/Market St and struck a power pole. The truck sustained extensive damage and had to be towed.
fight between approximately 10 youth at the George Little Park. Checks were done of the area.
landlord/tenant dispute complicated by the fact it is also a familial dispute. Police spoke with the people involved and gave advice on the matter.
a red car parked diagonally across Loen Ave. The owner of the car drove it off the road. It had rolled there because the owner failed to apply the parking brake.
domestic disturbance. An intoxicated 32 yr old man was arrested.
suspicious people in behind Clarence Michiel Elementary School. Police located an 18 yr old woman and a 25 yr old man who was holding a can of spray paint. Graffiti was noted on the pavement. Both were arrested for mischief. Under investigation.
fireworks on Scott Ave. Checks were done of area.
intoxicated woman causing problems in a residence on Halliwell Ave was kicked out. Police located the 44 yr old woman in the Uplands School field. She was arrested for public intoxication.
intoxicated man passed out on Haugland Ave. Police arrested the 19 yr old man for public intoxication and breach of probation by consuming alcohol
a window was heard being broken on Eby St. Police located a grey 2007 Pontiac Montana that had a rock thrown through the driver’s side window. The vehicle had not been entered.
man passed out on the side walk on the east side of the Sande Overpass. Police arrested a 29 yr old man for public intoxication.
domestic disturbance. An intoxicated 23 yr old man was arrested.
a wheelchair was found on Agar Ave park.
a non working air pistol was turned in to be destroyed.
a black leather purse with two side pockets containing a wallet with various cards and ID was lost at the Northern Motor Inn on May 5 at about midnight.
intoxicated suicidal 27 yr old man. The man was being cared for by a family member. Police transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital to be assessed.
a woman mooned another woman. Ongoing dispute between the two. Police spoke with the women about their communication skills.
woman welding a knife in the security screening area of the Airport. Police attended and found that nobody was welding a knife. A woman had packed a small knife along with a candle lighter in her carry on bag. Examination of the knife determined it to be kubaton knife which is prohibited.
a person received suicidal text messages. Police determined that the person was in Prince Rupert and information was passed to the Prince Rupert RCMP.
an unlocked truck parked on Cypress St was rifled through sometime last night.
