The Terrace RCMP have responded to approximately 31 calls for service from May 15, 8 AM till May 16, 8 AM. During the same time period there have been four people lodged in Terrace Cells, all for public intoxication.
a 40ish yr old man doing drugs at the Dairy Queen at the entrance to the Kermodei Friendship Society door. Ongoing issue.
intoxicated woman stumbling towards the Aquatic Center.
man passed out in behind the bushes behind the Skeena Liquor Store on Greig Ave. A 40 yr old man was arrested for public intoxication.
intoxicated 71 yr old man arrested on Lakelse Ave/Emerson St
two people drinking alcohol on Emerson St heading to George Little Park. Police located a mildly intoxicated belligerent 67 yr old man. A bottle of wine was dumped.
911 hang up. Coordinates of the phone’s location were unable to be obtained.
a member on patrol observed two woman fighting at Emerson St/Lakelse Ave. Both woman suffered minor injuries. One had a bite on her belly. Police arrested both of the woman ages 32 and 22 for assault. They were intoxicated.
the passenger side of a blue 2013 Ford Valard Contracting truck was damaged in a hit and run sometime between 8 AM and 9:30 AM yesterday in downtown Terrace.
keys with a metal tag with a name engraved on it were lost
criminal harassment investigation. Advice was given on the matter

missing 15 yr old girl. She returned on her own a short time later.
a woman’s wallet was stolen while she slept overnight on a couch at a friend’s residence. Police spoke with numerous people and all denied taking the wallet.

a black 2007 Mazda 3 rear ended a brown 2006 Jeep Commander at Sparks St/Straume Ave. No injuries.
police assisted New Aiyansh RCMP with a pedestrian motor vehicle incident involving injuries.
a silver 2003 Hyundai Tiburon was checked in the parking lot of Christy park. Police served the 17 yr old driver with a Notice of Prohibition.
uttering threats investigation. The victim did not want police involvement.
a man banging on the door of a residence on Mills Ave. Police found an intoxicated 24 yr old man who had been drinking with his 24 yr old friend and then was kicked out and locked out of the residence. His friend agreed to let him back in.
a man lost his green duffel bag containing toiletries, a red "Lariot" long board with an Owl picture on it, and a Quicksilver wallet containing various cards and ID somewhere in Terrace prior to being arrested for public intoxication on May 10th.
erratic driver in a blue Chrysler 300 nearly caused a collision on the Sande Overpass. Further police involvement was not wanted.
false residential alarm on Walker St
a woman reported someone keeps breaking into her apartment. Determined false. Ongoing mental health issues.
an abandoned white Ford Explorer with a broken rear window on the shoulder of Queensway Dr near Kirsch St. Police spoke with the registered owner.
three teenagers burnt a picnic table on Edlund Ave.
AWOL 32 yr old man. He returned on his own later in the day.
barking dogs on Crescent St. Police observed two large black dogs barking incessantly in a fenced yard. The owner of the dogs was located and was told to get them under control.
possible impaired driver 10 km east of Terrace in an older Chevy pickup truck. Police located the vehicle on Hwy 16 near the Copper River bridge. The 50 yr old driver failed to provide a sample of breath into a roadside screening device. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Suspension and the black/silver 1996 Chevrolet C15 he was driving was impounded.
