aggressive panhandler in front of the Safeway. Police arrested a 49 yr old for public intoxication. He was mean and belligerent with police and the public in the area.
two shoplifters were arrested by Shoppers Drug Mart staff. Police arrested two girls ages 14 and 12 yrs of age. The items were returned to Shoppers Drug Mart and to the Dollar Store. The girls were released to their guardians.
man passed out on Greig Ave in a stairwell. Police spoke with two men ages 33 and 34.Elsewhere Terrace
attempts were made to assist Kitimat RCMP with execution of a warrant on a 36 yr old man.
a woman received an indecent phone call. Police called the number and spoke with a man on the phone. Police also gave advice on the matter which included not to give out personal information over the phone and to be especially wary of phone numbers with area codes from other countries.
familial dispute. No offence committed. A 17 yr old boy left the residence prior to police attendance. He attempted to return to the residence later in the evening but was not welcome. Police requested the assistance of Ministry of Children and Families.
a woman is posting defamatory comments about a 15 yr old girl on Facebook. Police gave advice on the matter.
a woman had her bank card stolen and money withdrawn from her account. Police spoke with the woman. Numerous people have her PIN number and access to her account. Ongoing investigation.
possible impaired driver in a grey Chevrolet Impala. Police pulled the vehicle over on Haugland Ave. N offence committed.
suicidal 62 yr old woman. Police transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment. She was soon released and police transported her back to her residence.

noisy dog on Straume Ave. Police gave advice on the matter.
a person firing a pellet gun into a wooded area near Caledonia Dr. Police spoke with a 16 yr old boy and gave advice as to how to do this activity in a manner that would not generate complaints.

motor vehicle collision between a Ford Escalade and a Chrysler Intrepid on Hwy 16/Chimdemash Loop. A 29 yr old woman was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and assessment. She was a passenger in the Chrysler. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed. Ongoing investigation.

Police were enroute to a motor vehicle collision on Hwy 16 when they came across another vehicle incident near Brooks St. A Mazda B400 truck veered off road and suffered minor damage. No injuries. The vehicle was still drivable.

a brown Pontiac Grand Am was pulled over on Hwy 16 west near Little Oliver Creek for speeding. The passenger was the registered owner and had a notice to serve prohibition order. Police served the necessary documents.
