The Haitian Relief Fund Dinner and Dance put on by members of Terrace's East Indian community with the help of a number of local businesses on Saturday evening was a great success. All 200 tickets were sold. All monies are going to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army to help the Haitians. Those individuals that were lucky enough to attend had a delicious dinner and great entertainment throughout the evening.

Thanks again to the the many local businesses that supported the event, and the local East Indian community that put the dinner and dance together. You are to be commended on your efforts to help others in need.
