REPORTING · 3rd March 2010
Merv Ritchie
Opened on March 4th
It has been closed for a few weeks now, after moving from the former location of the Hot House Restaurant, and the owners expect to have their traditional dishes ready for Terracites before the end of the week.

They have stepped up the entire atmosphere to a professional and warm look. New dual touch screen waitress order and payment screens will facilitate the ease of handling the larger dinner time crowds. They have two doors to the kitchen and a new bar serving area.

Those who enjoyed meals at their previous location will remember the single door and traffic jam behind the till where wait staff would have to be cautious and patrons would have to wait. Well that dilemma is now cured.

The entire building has been reconstructed and a large deck is being completed off of the front to enjoy the great weather Terrace has to offer. The building inspectors have been making their rounds to ensure the new washrooms and the kitchen, with their new stove, is ready, safe and meets regulations.

City Council was required to approve a minor parking varience before this move could go ahead. Read the article here.
