The Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil
Campaign will be kicking off March 18 with the introduction of a new daffodil pin. British Columbians are being asked to “join the fight” and show their support for those who are on a cancer journey by wearing the daffodil pin.
“If you know someone on a cancer journey, the daffodil pin provides an opportunity for you to show your support for them.”
Starting March 19 look for pins at businesses throughout Terrace “We do everything we can to prevent cancer, save lives and support those living with cancer.” Giving courageously will help prevention, research and support efforts.
Cut flowers will also be available March 25. “We want to thank Terrace for its past support of our Daffodil Campaign.” Thanks to that support, the Canadian Cancer Society has more impact against cancers in more communities than any other cancer charity in Canada. This spring, we are creating a movement across the province.
On April 9th we’re asking all British Columbians to be courageous and join the fight against cancer by making a donation and wearing our badge of courage – the Daffodil Pin. This little yellow symbol will let people fighting the disease know that they are not alone on their cancer journey. Courageous living deserves courageous giving. Please wear a pin!
