REPORTING · 18th March 2010
Merv Ritchie
It was a crowd in the Gators Night Club room at the Terrace Best Western Hotel at Lunchtime on Wednesday as Terrace and area residents gathered to hear former Premier Bill Vanderzalm speak about the measure he is spearheading to stop the HST.

The new tax, which will be implemented this summer, is illegal according to Vanderzalm's co-conspirator, Chris Delaney. Their plans are multi-staged and even if the tax goes ahead they will continue and have it revoked and force the government to return the money collected.

Their final stages are to recall the leader of the Liberal Party who they suggest wont be Campbell anymore by the time they are finished.

It was a standing room only audience as the talk progressed and more people came down the stairs. Delaney and Vanderzalm both expressed how pleased and equally surprised at the huge turn out. Zalm stating the steam is getting ahead of them.

We have videoed the entire presentation and it can be viewed HERE.

It was a great show, lots of humour and insight. If you missed this presentation take a few moments and watch it. It wouldn't be fair to reduce it to a few edited paragraphs.
