CONTRIBUTION · 1st April 2010
Ken Fraser
The residents of Terraceview Lodge and McConnell Residence had a great Tuesday evening of entertainment that probably brought back a lot of memories of their youth. A local group of dancers led by Richard and Kelly Klein did a variety of dances for about an hour. The dances included both Latin and Ballroom as well as other forms.

Kelly and Richard give lessons for those interested in social dancing. Beginners meet every Wednesday from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm, and the more experienced dancers meet at 8:00 pm at the Terrace Arena Banquet Room. Practices sessions are held on Thursday also. Latin dancing is covered in the fall and ballroom in the winter/spring session. Further information can be found at www.terrace.ca/documents/leisure-services-schedules/Programs-Brochure-Spring-2010.pdf in the lower section of the page. New dancers are always welcome whether they be young or old, experienced or not.

Social dances are also held with dance groups in Kitimat and Pr. Rupert each year.
