At approximately 7:00 pm on Thursday March 18th, 2010 a 10 year old child was approached on Sloan Avenue while walking a dog. The 20 year old First Nations male wearing blue jeans and long sleeved blue shirt approached the child on foot and suggested the child come to his house to see his puppy. The child indicated that the male had a tattoo on his left arm.

At approximately 7:20 pm on Thursday March 25th, 2010 police received a report of a male trying to lure two children (5 and 7 years old) into his vehicle. This incident occurred at the park at the junction of Kootenay Avenue and Ritchie Street.

The driver has been described as Caucasian with blue eyes and short dirty blonde hair, with long bangs reaching his eyes wearing a black jacket. The driver may have a tattoo on his forearm. The passenger of the truck was described as having shoulder length black hair wearing a black toque.

The truck driven by the suspects was described as an older Ford truck light brown in colour with shiny rims.

The driver of the vehicle approached the two children and asked them to get into the vehicle. When the children declined the driver stated something to the effect of "you wanna die, you better run".
