Action at the net
REPORTING · 6th April 2010
Merv Ritchie
In the first of three games at the Terrace Sportsplex the Braid Insurance Roadrunners could run but failed to getaway from Nuyens Blasting Caps as they got blown away in the first game 3 to 0.

It was a tight hard, fast game and although the score seemed weighted the action wasn't. Only one goal in the first and one in the second before Nuyens was able to capitalize on the empty net in the dying seconds of the game.

At 8:00 pm on Thursday these two teams will meet up again and the Roadrunner is certain to not get capped. The play will likely get heavier as the boys from Braid Insurance will attempt to redeem themselves and snuff the fuse.

If successful they will meet again on Friday evening at 9:30 to settle the score once and for all.

The Old timers are also settling some matches and their final is set for Friday Evening at 8:00 pm between the Northern Motor Inn and the SRD Blues.
