Terrace Fire Departmentt
The Terrace Fire Department is mourning the death of one of its dedicated fire fighters, Barry Samuelson.
Barry passed away suddenly after being involved in a highway collision near Vanderhoof May 30, 2010.
Barry had been a fire fighter with the Terrace Fire Department since 2002. Barry was committed to being a fire fighter and served with the Abbotsford Fire Department prior to his arrival in Terrace.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barry’s family as they deal with this unexpected tragedy,” said Terrace Fire Chief Peter Weeber.
“Barry was an important part of the fire department family and the team will miss him.”
Barry leaves behind his wife and two young sons and a daughter.

I was stunned to hear of the passing of Barry Samuelson. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Barry at Eurocan. I will miss his huge smile and his fantastic sense of humor. I wish to send my heart felt condolences to his wife and family.

I was shocked to hear of Barry's untimely passing my condolences go out to his wife and family. I had the pleasure of working with Barry at Eurocan and found him to be a real pleasure to work with. His great sense of humour and caring nature will be greatly missed. This was such sad news.
