RCMP are releasing further details in the deadly crash that claimed two lives on Sunday May 30th on Highway 16 west, 15 kilometers east of Vanderhoof British Columbia.
A 60 year old woman from Burns Lake British Columbia, was traveling east on highway 16 West when the vehicle she was operating, a 2006 Chrysler Sebring, crossed the center line and collided with a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire. The west bound Pontiac was being driven by a 47 year old man from Terrace, British Columbia.
Although police continue their investigation into this crash, it is not yet known why the Chrysler crossed the center line. At this time the police have to evidence to suggest that alcohol, or drugs played a role in this crash.
Police continue to ask the public for anyone who may have witnessed this deadly crash to call the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
