2009 National Aboriginal Day Celebration at the former Jim Ryan Band Shell in George Little Park
P.S.A.'S · 24th June 2010
Merv Ritchie
A full moon graces the skies over Terrace on Friday night, leading into the National Aboriginal Day celebrations which begin Saturday morning.

National Aboriginal Day has been celebrated in various communities and villages across Canada. These celebrations are marked by the longest day of the year, the summer solstice, which generally falls on June 21.

Environment Canada is predicting wet weather tomorrow, Friday, with the skies breaking and the sun arriving Saturday, hopefully by 8 am for
the crews to set up for the day’s happenings in the George Little park. Opening ceremonies with prayer is set to begin at 10 am, and below you will find a short list of some of the events. Follow This Link to the Kermode Friendship Society website where you can find all the details.
