With only three weeks left until Riverboat Days it looks like this is going to be a quiet and restful weekend. After having three packed weekends it will be quite a relief. The weather forecast though, is supposed to be hot and sunny once again, so get ready to head to the beach!

There will be the usual activities on Saturday morning, like the pancake breakfast and flea market in Rosswood. Also as per usual there is the Skeena Valley Farmerís Market in the Spirit Square.

Also happening this weekend is the Ladies Open at the Skeena Valley Golf & Country Club. This starts at 10 AM and runs until approximately 4 PM.

In Kitimat, there is a Dragon Boating Challenge at Minette Bay as well as the Community Challenge Regatta.

On Sunday morning there will be the usual Flea Market at the George Little House. Also the Ladies Open continues with the playing times being 10 AM to 4 PM once again.

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend and remember if you are out camping to be careful with your campfires. Also donít forget about the new regulations on the fire size which are 0.5 metres by 0.5 metres.
