Police Asking Witnesses to Come Forward
On July 1, 2010 at approximately 8:00 pm a 16 year old female was approached by a male on a dirt bike while walking her dog along Munroe St, near Skeena Junior Secondary School. The male made inappropriate comments to the female and as she tried to walk away the male grabbed her arm. The female than fled.
The male is described as being a dark-skinned 39 year old Caucasian male, with a thick black goatee, black hair, average build, wearing a long sleeved shirt, a vest with large pockets, a tan ball cap and blue jeans.
Three males were observed sitting on a picnic table near the doors of the Cafeteria located at the west side of the school. Police are asking these individuals or any other witnesses to contact the Terrace RCMP 250-638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) with any information they may have pertaining to this incident.
