Terrace RCMP
On July 19, 2010 at approximately 8:15pm, The Terrace RCMP with assistance from the Terrace Police Dog Unit, responded to a report of a single motor vehicle incident on Old Lakelse Lake Drive near Roseland Ave. Three males were observed running from the vehicle, a black Ford F250 pickup which had rolled into the ditch at that location.

After a perimeter was set and the area searched, one male was located in the nearby bush where as the other two males were located inside a nearby residence. The driver of the vehicle was issued a 24 hr driving prohibition and tickets for failing to remain at the scene of an accident and fail to keep right of a double solid line. A second male was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was found to be in breach of his conditions to not consume alcohol.

Editor note: It has been reported but not contained with in this RCMP news releases that the owner of the vehicle, after running to his home, called the RCMP to report the vehicle stolen. There has been no official conformation of this as a fact.
