With Riverboat Days fast approaching registration deadlines for events are coming along with it.
Submissions for entry into this year’s parade need to be submitted by July 26th to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 13. For registration forms, you can open the attachment below.
If you are wishing to compete in the 3 on 3 Basketball tournament you need to register by July 27th. If you would like to register you can contact Conrad Lewis at (250)624-9232, by text at (250)600-1232 or by email to lewis,,,citytel.net and provide your team name, division, player's names and contact info. You can also pick up the registration form at Pizza Hut.
The registration deadline for the paintball tournament is on Thursday, July 29th. You can pick up registration forms at Canadian Tire.
If you are wishing to compete in the Mr Mikes Beach Blast Volleyball “10” then you must register by July 30th. All registration info is available at Mr Mikes.
If you want to have your child in the Children’s Pioneer Crafts Workshops you will need to register by July 30th. You can call 635-4546 or email heritageparkmuseum,,,gmail.com to register or for more information.
If you want to register a team for the 4 on 4 Street Hockey at Totem Ford, you need to register at the latest by 5:30 PM on Saturday, July 31st. You can register at Fast Lane at Totem Ford or for more info call Joanne or Kevin at 635-4984.
The Great Rotary Wild Duck Race is on Monday, August 2nd and if you want to have a chance to win this year’s grand prize of a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt you must purchase ticket. Rotary members will be at various places throughout town during Riverboat Days, such as the Farmer’s Market and the Parade. They will also being selling tickets right on the bridges last minute before the ducks drop.
The Uplands Pond Tour is also on Monday and you must purchase your tickets to participate in this event. When you purchase your tickets, you will receive a map to the pond locations.
The Tastes of Terrace is running again this year and you need to buy a map of the restaurants. You can purchase the map at Misty River Books or at the Skeena Diversity Society. The maps will be on sale until 1 PM on Saturday, August 8th.
The last event of this year’s Riverboat Days is the Food & Flower Garden Tour. You need to buy you tickets by Saturday, August 7th to participate. You can pick up your tickets and maps at either Misty River Books or Sidewalkers.
