REPORTING · 24th July 2010

At the BC Games being held this week in the Lower Mainland, specifically Langley, the Zone 4 team, Fraser River-Delta trounced the Terrace Boys Basketball team representing Zone 7, the North West, by a score of 86-3.

At half time the score board revealed a dismal beginning half, 50 to nothing. Only in the third quarter was Terrace's Drew Kenmuir able to stop this from being a completely scoreless game for the Northwest team. He put three points on the board with a free throw and a layup in the last six minutes of the quarter. It was clear this would not do anything to the chances of the team as the score at this point was now 80 to 3.

It obviously had some effect however as after this effort the team held Fraser River Delta team to just 6 more points through the remaining forth quarter.
