REPORTING · 2nd August 2010
Merv Ritchie
If you had the opportunity to witness 'Playback' at the Riverboat Days, Concerts in the Park on Saturday, and if you were an old Hippy type, a Led Zeppelin fan, even the Head Pins, the headline act, could not match their performance.

Terrace should be more than proud, we should be thrilled and prepared to promote this excellent combination of musical talent.

I am not ashamed to admit that tears came to my eyes as I stood filming this incredible performance. I was totally caught off guard and unaware of what I was about to experience.

There was nothing about this show that I was disappointed with. The sound was fantastic, shivers ran down my spine. The bandshell (no matter how much we have berated it) was a perfect venue.

As I write this short accolade to Playback, I am listening to it again, as it plays back on my TV and stereo. I will likely watch it many more times.

So we have uploaded it to Youtube for you as well, as we do many videos.

Watch it HERE.
