REPORTING · 4th August 2010
Terrace Daily
This past Sunday, skateboarders took to the Terrace skate park for the 11th Annual Ruins Riverboat Days Skate Competition.

Many brought their own chairs and found some shade to take in the competition. Behind the MC's tent you could find some BBQ'd hot dogs and hamburgers for those who where able to find a appetite in the tremendous heat that was felt all weekend.

There was an abundance of tricks landed and even some bail's. There were even some unique tricks, as one competitor rode down the ledge of the big 5 stairs.

Everything from nose-grinds to 360 flips were being tried and often landed.

The pyramid was the place for where most of the action took place with multiple k-grinds, feeble and 50-50 grinds being landed.

Winners of the competition were:

1st place - Luke Lambert
2nd place - Cameron Culver
3rd place - Cody Kirby

Men's Open
