GREENíS THE WORD- Would you like to participate?

Northwest Science & Innovation and Northwest Community College are partnering to present our community with a very Green Weekend. The purpose of this free event is to educate and engage local residents on the benefits of sustainability, and how to apply it in personal and/or business lifestyle. To kick-off this exciting event, Guy Dauncey President of BC Sustainable Energy Association will speak Thursday, September 23 inside the LEED certified Long House at NWCC. In this illustrated talk, Dauncey shows how the leading communities are tackling climate change in North America and around the world through eco-restorations, cycling strategies, efficiency retrofits, down-town revitalization and transit expansions.
