REPORTING · 26th August 2010
Evan Jennings

The old lot for the Farmers Market has been developed fairly thoroughly and buildings are starting to come up. They have laid the foundations and eight pre-fab housing units are in position on the north foundation and four pre-fab units are in on the south.

Now they had to dig a hole on the intersection of Davis Ave and the newly named Market St. There is single lane traffic only through here now, so please be patient with others and wait you turn. Hopefully they will have this fixed before Saturday morning for the Farmers Market.

As you will be able to see in the pictures below, there is a white pipeline bare at the bottom of the hole with an orange bag on the end if it. They are preparing to be connecting the senior housing units to city services.

The intersection between Davis Ave and Market St is being filled back up. Due to this, all traffic has been detoured to other streets. The construction should be finished by the end of the day.

All the pipelines have been attached and the culvert put into place, therefore after the road has been repaved there should be no further traffic disturbances on this intersection.
