The Terrace Midget Rep hockey team played a pair of games against Kitimat, in Kitimat this past weekend.

The first game of the year went at 4:45 on Saturday, and it was a bit of a tentative start for both teams and play was a little sloppy. Terrace got out to a promising start with a 3-1 lead. With two minutes left in the game Kitimat tied the game with a questionable goal that appeared to enter the net from behind after the net came off it's moorings. The game ended in a tie. Coach Testawich appealed to the referee but to no avail. David Lewis received a misconduct and was suspended from playing the Sunday game. Dawson Kluss got the start and played well for Terrace in net.
