REPORTING · 6th October 2010

This past weekend, Saturday, October 3rd, the Skeena Valley Runners Club held the 30th annual Fall Run at Northwest Community College. 214 runners took to the streets and roadways to compete in the Annual walk and run.

Mike Christiansen from Terrace and Kathleen Cunniffe from Prince George came in tight in the big race, only 1 minute 44 seconds apart in more than an hour and a half slug fest of running 21 kilometers. Some youngsters really made their mark in the 5 kilometer and 10 kilometer races. 13 year old Luke Whitaker of Terrace came in second in the 10 K racing action, surrounded by men and women all over 40 years old.
