Once again the bimonthly meeting of the elected Terrace City Councillors meet to discuss the affairs concerning the City. The Agenda is light but reveals some interesting details and developments.

Reitman’s, the National Clothing store chain is planning to move into the vacant space next to the TD Canada Trust and the Dollar Store. The owners of the building, Progressive Ventures are planning to perform several upgrades to the store front façade and doors.

The Teacher District Teachers Union will be getting approval for the rezoning of a building at 4733 Park Avenue to use as a new office location.

Carol Fielding will deliver another presentation to Council regarding Hockeyville and her trip to Dundas, Ontario, to ‘Pass on the Torch’.

A ‘Green Energy’ community heating contracting company from Prince George will be delivering a presentation on the design and effectiveness of their unique systems.

Karen Campbell from the Pembina Institute will also be delivering a presentation on ‘Energy Issues in British Columbia’.

The City’s own live stream presentation, according to their website, will not be functioning for the month of October due to Council Chambers renovations.
