NEWS RELEASE · 22nd November 2010
The excitement builds as next weekend's repeat match-up from last year, once again pits the Montreal Alouette's against the Saskatchewan Roughriders for this year's 98th edition of the Grey Cup.
For many Canadian football fans, last year's battle remains vivid in their minds as the Roughriders had the game all but sewn up when the Alouette's missed a last second field goal, only to have it called back by a late penalty. The Alouette's then succeeded with their second attempt to take home the win, and the Grey Cup with a score of 28-27 !
One can only hope to see an equally exciting repeat performance, with the Roughriders seeking their revenge, and the Alouette's attempting to hang on to their position as the best football team in Canada.
This all plays out in Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium on Sunday November 28th at 3:00 pm.
