NEWS RELEASE · 8th January 2011
saz communications
After four years of providing creative communications support and graphic design services to businesses and organizations throughout BC and Alberta, saz communications is closing its doors effective March 31, 2011.

Owner Sarah Zimmerman has accepted a communications position with Rio Tinto Alcan’s Corporate Affairs and Community Relations department in Kitimat.

“I am thrilled to be taking on this new challenge in my career and am looking forward to working with the team at Rio Tinto Alcan at this very exciting time,” says Zimmerman.

Operating saz communications has been a rewarding experience and Zimmerman is grateful to have worked with a tremendous group of businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals throughout the Terrace area and beyond.

“I am most proud of the community involvement and volunteer initiatives we were able to support through saz communications – we have an incredibly giving and vibrant community in Terrace and I want to thank all those people who give freely of their time to make our community the amazing place that it is,” she says.

The public relations side of saz communications ceased operations as of December 15, 2010 while the graphic design side of the business continues to operate under the guidance of design guru Sandra Stefanik until March 31, 2011. At that time, Stefanik will be opening her own home-based graphic design company called ideas: notable design.

“I know Sandra will continue to provide her trademark creative design services to our existing clients and her new customers,” says Zimmerman.
