The Terrace Library’s Literacy Program for Toddlers and Two’s ended last week, but not to worry, as there will be more programs for youth coming this spring, according to Jess Dafoe, Children and Youth Services coordinator.

The recent program ended last Wednesday in what Dafoe called a successful session. The purpose of the program is to introduce children to literacy through rhyme, storytelling, and music.

“It was a great session,” said Dafoe. “The kids really enjoyed the music so we did lots of rhymes and bumps.”

Dafoe added that there was a waiting list for the last program.

For those who would like to register their child for future programs, visit www.terracepubliclibrary.ca as there will be updates coming in the near future.

Dafoe also noted that that will be many activities over the spring break for those 13 months to teens. Families are welcome.
