NEWS RELEASE · 2nd March 2011
Terrace RCMP
Insp. Eric Stubbs, who has commanded the Terrace Detachment since July 2008, has been promoted to the Prince George City RCMP Detachment. He will be replacing Superintendent Brenda Butterworth-Carr who has been transferred to Ottawa. Insp. Stubbs’ departure date has not yet been established.

Insp. Stubbs came to Terrace in May 2005 as the Operations NCO before assuming command in 2008. “I have fully enjoyed my time in Terrace. The community has been a fantastic place for both me and my family. The members and staff here are extremely dedicated to their work and the positive results we’ve seen in 2010 reflect their efforts. The support from the City and the community has been instrumental in some of the successes that we’ve achieved.”

“I look forward to moving to Prince George and the challenge of leading that detachment for a number of years.”
Good Luck...

Insp. Stubbs is such a neat person and Terrace will definitely miss him. I think he even played floor hockey with the guys in Kitsumkalum as well as participating in different events down here. Good luck to you Inspector and family in your move to Prince George.
wish he could stay longer

Terrace has done well with Insp. Stubbs here. He is leaving us with memories of a decent person and a excellent police officer.
