Premier-designate Christy Clark issued the following statement today following the earthquake and Tsunami that struck Japan:
"On behalf of all British Columbians, I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to the people of Japan in the aftermath of this tragic natural disaster. We join with people around the world in our concern for those affected and in mourning the loss of life.
"The ties between B.C. and Japan are strong, connecting friends and families across the ocean. I know there are many British Columbians with loved ones in Japan and our thoughts and prayers are with them today.
