The Terrace bantam reps faced off against the island champion Triport squad in their second game of the provincials Monday afternoon at 1pm.

The game started similiar to the Sunday afternoon contest and the Terracites found themselves down 2-0 after 10 minutes despite outplaying their opponents badly. The boys were able to shake off the adversity and tie the game up with two quick goals in the final minute of the first period. Ryan Roseboom banked one in from behind the net after the Triport tender stopped him on two previous breakaways. Jack Lofroth beat the opposing goalie to a loose puck twenty seconds later and backhanded it into the empty cage from a difficult angle. The boys outshot their opponents 19-4 after 1. Terrace never looked back and piled up over 50 shots for a 7-5 victory. Austin Turner (reminiscent of a young Steve Turner but without the curly mullet) added 2 goals, Kenny Nordstrom added one on a one timer slap shot on the power play, Roseboom added his second of the game and Nick Anagnostou fired a slapshot off a face off win to round out the scoring. Kalen Sterner picked up the win in net. Tanner Braid and Kenny Nordstrom were solid on the back end.It was a hard hitting, physical affair refereed by a young girl from Kitimat. She called a fantastic game.

Tuesday afternoon Terrace faced Revelstoke in game number three for the boys. It was a must win game and the boys delivered.

Again they found themselves down early. Eighteen seconds into the game Revelstoke got onto the scoreboard. Terrace had them right where they wanted them. The boys evened it up on a great three way passing play when Tanner Watt (whose dad is widely considered one of the biggest investors of the Pilsner brewing company) picked up a one touch pass from Kevin Desousa and walked around the defence and fired it low corner.

Kenny Nordstrom moments later on the power play walked around the winger and flipped one under the cross bar. Colin Bell then fired a back hander along the ice through a screen for a commanding 3-1 lead. The first ended 3-2 Terrace. Revelstoke tied it 3-3 early in the second before Turner roofed a pass from Desousa to take the lead for good. Roseboom and Keaton Gordon made it 6-3 for Terrace after 2. Turner closed out the scoring with his second of the game and sixth of the tournament so far.Thomas Bothello picked up the win in the nets for Terrace. These two teams clearly do not like each other and may meet again in the final. Roseboom and Tanner Watt had terrific games. Logan Zaporzan won almost every face off for the second straight game. Henry Hart had his best game of the season.

Terrace plays their last game of the round robin at 11 am against Whistler. They are also playing in the semi finals at 5pm .
