Hawkair Aviation announces the implementation of an earlier morning scheduled fl ight service from Vancouver’s main terminal at YVR to the Terrace-Kitimat airport. The new Vancouver business friendly service commences Monday, May 16.
“With all of the anticipated business growth in the northwest region, including the Kitimat Modernization Project, the Northwest Transmission Line, the Kitimat Liquid Natural Gas, Run of River projects and a very active mining sector we felt the timing was right to reach out and support the Vancouver business community,” said Darryl Tucker.
Hawkair’s Marketing Director Rod Hayward, Hawkair’s General Manager states, ”We recognized our customers need to be able to leave Vancouver, spend the day up north and have the ability to return home the same day.”
Departing Vancouver at 8:30 am arriving in Terrace at 10:30: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and leaving Terrace at 4:00 pm means that business travelers will be back in Vancouver by 6:00 pm.
