Students from various schools attended the many activities organized by Kitsumkalum and its partners that celebrated the rich culture of our pioneers.
Students submitted historical displays that were showcased in the Art Gallery. Tours were scheduled for a historical walk at the old Cemetery and down the Howe Creek trail.
Old time sports were enjoyed, with students participating in sack races, tug of wars and a Maypole Dance. A sack lunch was shared while Metic music and dancing took place.
The entire day was well attended and ended with a huge dinner in the park.
