Heritage Park Museum
Canada Day celebrations starts with Terrace Firefighters Annual Breakfast at the Terrace Fire Hall on Eby St. from 8am to Noon. The firefighters will be cooking up breakfast. All proceeds will be going to the BC Proffesional Fire Fighters Burn Fund. There will be children's facepainting and fire truck rides.
At the Heritage Park Museum the events begin;
11:00am - $2Pony rides, chainsaw carving, hay wagon rides, face painting, art exhibitions. There will also be a silent auction and The Terrace Nisga'a Elders Society will be hosting a Salmon BBQ by donation.
11:15am Gitlaxdax Nisga'a Dancers perform.
12:00pm Maggy Ottenbreit leads the singing of O Canada.
1:00pm Mayor Dave Pernarowski cuts Canada's Birthday Cake.
1:15pm Local performer Colby Cameron sings.
1:30pm Children's races
2:00pm Headliners King Crow and the Ladies from Hell perform.
2:45pm Children's Pinata.
3:00pm Pony rides end.
3:30pm Bonnie Juniper and violing students perform.
4:45pm Silent Auction ends.
5:00 Canada celebrations end.
