A rainbow over head just before lead guitarist, Derry Grehan, played his guitar behind his head
NEWS RELEASE · 31st July 2011
Merv Ritchie
A fantastic performance. The sky cleared and the rain held off for the open air perfomance Theater at George Little Park in the middle of Terrace, BC.

The performance was highlighted by a double rainbow overhead as the sky's cleared for this rockin’ show. It was threatened only once with a short one minute sprinkle of droplets from the sky and as the encore performance began so did the rain. It was a flawless performance for the crowd of just under two thousand.

Honeymoon Suite was as appreciative of the audience as the audience was of them.

Lead vocal and guitarist Johnnie Dee continuously spoke about how much he liked what he discovered in Terrace asking out loud why they hadn't been invited before. He called out to Tony from Sight and Sound, asking to be invited back. But, he stated, this time he wanted to stay for at least two days, adding now the crowd of over a thousand has heard his demand to be asked to return.

“Ah, you guy’s should have invited us a long time ago!” he stated just before he introduced the band.

The entire evening was entertaining with commentary by Dee. At one point when the wind blew up a bit he commented, as he pointed up to the roof of the stage, "Well this stage is sure not blowing away tonight, this is nailed down!”

“We just played outside of Winnipeg last night and I gotta tell you this is a hell of a lot better. I don’t care if the sun is shining or not. Thank you very much!” to which the crowd responded with loud cheers, “We started off at about four am and we got here at about 3 or so and ah, you never know what to expect when you get to these places but this is totally wonderful, give yourselves a hand!”

This short HD Video snapshot was recorded by the Terrace Daily and uploaded directly after the performance. This is a much longer clip (an hour and 15 minutes) of most of the performance.
