NEWS RELEASE · 16th September 2011
BC Ferries
BC Ferries is discontinuing the sale of the paper-based CirclePac and SailPass products as of September 30, 2011 due to limited sales.

The SailPass product was a single price ticket for a passenger vehicle, driver and passenger used for ferry travel for either four or seven consecutive days. Each pass was valid for one round trip on each of the minor routes as well as one way on the major routes.

BC Ferries is also discontinuing the sale of CirclePac tickets. The CirclePac offered a discount when customers travelled the circle route from Horseshoe Bay to the Sunshine Coast, Comox and back to the Lower Mainland within a 30-day period.

Sales of both products were minimal and therefore are being discontinued.

Customers can now get great deals through BC Ferries Vacations on packages that include ferry travel and accommodation for getaways to places like the Painted Boat Resort on the Sunshine Coast or Kingfisher Oceanside Resort in Courtenay. BC Ferries Vacations also offers over 50 unique packages to Vancouver Island, Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii and areas throughout B.C.

In addition to the travel packages, customers can also receive discounts for multiple trips on selected routes with the BC Ferries Experience Card.
