REPORTING · 27th September 2011
Merv Ritchie
The protests continue on Wall Street for the eleventh day straight. People are arriving from across the USA and others are sending in supplies, food, toiletries and electronics. Most police officers have been considerate and respectful but from the video evidence the senior officers are using excessive force. The MSNBC commentator questions if they are attempting to set an example for their junior members.

There is not a clear “demand” position by those gathered at Wall Street except they want to shut down what they consider to be the criminal actions of the Banks and investors who have robbed America of their wealth. As vague as this demand seems it has caught a following and many communities across the USA have begun their own protest movements in a show of solidarity.

The entire event is being live stream and can be watch online 24 hours a day. There is also a chat bar for those watching to engage and offer their support. That chat is far too busy to follow along and read all the messages however the sentences that can be read as they pass by demonstrate the mood of the population.

This is a video link that may explain the concerns of those protesting at Wall Street.
