Terrace RCMP
Over the past 48 hours these are some of the events Terrace RCMP responded to:

September 28th to 29th

Downtown Terrace
- police were asked to assist a parent with an unruly 12 year old female at a school
- a fourteen year old was returned to Mills Memorial Hospital under the Mental Health Act
- an intoxicated male was arrested after he was refusing to leave a residence on Greig Ave

Elsewhere in Terrace
- police assisted a female with a custody order
- a bear cub was in a tree in behind Fountain Tire on Keith Ave. It was left alone to come down when it was quieter
- fight on Monroe St
- police received a call for help from a patient at the Seven Sisters Mental Health Facility. Police attended and assisted the patient and the facility.
- group of people possibly doing drugs on Scott Ave
- a driver was issued a violation ticket for no driver’s licence and the vehicle he was driving was impounded
- a male was arrested for public intoxication on Scott Ave. He was released when he sobered up. He was arrested five hours later at an address on Greig Ave for mischief (being intoxicated and refusing to leave).
- suspicious occurrence on Haugland Ave
- four male teens were wrecking mail boxes on Sparks St
- hit and run on Halliwell. A green 2001 Toyota Tundra pickup truck was parked on Halliwell and suffered damage to the back driver side bumper at about 11:00 PM on Sept 28. The suspect vehicle is possibly a teal blue truck and would have lots of damage to front end. The suspect vehicle headed westbound on Halliwell after the accident.
- a bear greeted a person at their back door on Pohle Ave
- a dog on Molitor St was keeping people awake at 4 AM. The owner took the dog inside.

- police escorted two five year old girls to their home when they were found to be playing unsafely in the intersection of Dogwood Ave and Thornhill St. Ministry of Children and Families were called to assist.
- A male was attempting to sell drugs at George’s Pub

Kitsumkalum, Kulspai, Gitaus
nothing to report

- erratic driver complaint on Hwy 37 between Kitimat and Terrace

September 27th to 28th

Downtown Terrace
- police assisted BC Ambulance on two calls, Kalum St and Lakelse Ave. A male was arrested for public intoxication in each call.
- a male was arrested on Greig Ave for public intoxication
- a 14 year old male was arrested under the Mental Health Act on Lakelse Ave and transported to Mills Memorial Hospital
- the well being of a female youth was checked on Tuck Ave
- a male on Lakelse Ave was issued a 3 day IRP and had his vehicle impounded for impaired driving

Elsewhere in Terrace
- business false alarm
- during the night of Sept 26/27 a 2003 Chevy pickup had it tires removed while parked at Macarthy Motors
- a female was panhandling on Haugland Ave
- a suspicious male on Lazelle Ave
- complaint of uttering threats via texting
- a male was intoxicated and causing problems at a party on Hanson St
- false 911
- a female was reported missing from the Seven Sisters Mental Health Facility. The female returned later on the same day
- police assisted BC Ambulance with an intoxicated male on Sparks St who had cut himself

- found bike on Muller Ave.
- an indecent picture was sent by phone to a female youth. Still under investigation
- a break and enter occurred on Toynbee St during the night of Sept 26/27. A detached garage had its padlock cut. Several tools were stolen. Still under investigation.
- false business panic alarm

Kitsumkalum, Kulspai, Gitaus
nothing to report

- false 911
- male was arrested for driving while prohibited
- business false alarm
