Halloween is just around the corner and that means all sorts of scary creatures will be walking amongst us soon like ghosts, vampires, Dr Conrad Murray, and of course zombies.

On Saturday Oct 22nd in Terrace the 3nd annual zombie walk will start at 4 pm at the terrace arena and zombies planning to take part are asked to bring a donation for the terrace food bank since zombies eat brains but humans eat food & zombies love well fed humans.

There are also plans for a zombie get together at the terrace park once the walk has been completed with a zombie performance of Michael Jacksons Thriller and some social interaction with fellow zombies although with the verbal communication being only various moans and groans it could be a bit difficult but I think the zombies will manage.

This is the link to the event page on Facebook so be sure to check it out and like the page and be sure to attend the event.!/event.php?eid=236473583062322

Matthew Daratha from the Skeena Diversity society will also be holding a zombie workshop on the day of the zombie walk from 12 noon until 4pm for those who would like some help with getting the proper zombie makeup done for them so they will look there scariest.

More information about this event can be found at this link on Facebook:!/event.php?eid=185463894862203

So be sure to spread the word about the event on Twitter & Facebook.

With this article I am also posting a link to a video of last years zombie walk on YouTube so you can see a visual of the route the zombie walk takes as it goes through the streets of terrace.

Hope to see you there this saturday.

If you notice the colourful Skeena Diversity Centre events poster around town claiming that the Zombie Workshop is on October 15th instead of the correct date of October 22, I blame the zombies! We don't want anyone to be disappointed if you come ready to be zombified this Saturday. On the other hand, come and see the amazing art works of Ryan Stella featured until November 12th.
So again - apologies to all the to-be-zombies. We all have to wait until October 22!
