Update by the Terrace RCMP Monday November 7, 2011Terrace RCMP and the BC Coroner Service have confirmed the identity of a body discovered outside a Thornhill residence on Friday November 4, 2011 as 82 yr old William Reiben of Thornhill, BC.
Following a thorough investigation, RCMP and the Coroner have determined that foul play was not involved in the circumstances leading to his death.
William Reiben’s burnt body was discovered late Friday morning outside of his residence at the Woodland Trailer Park.

“It is still early in the investigation. We are yet unable to determine the cause of death. Fire was somehow involved, but it is unknown how,” says Cpl Mike Dame of the Terrace General Investigation Unit.
His body was discovered outside of his trailer in Woodlands Height Trailer Park today by a passerby at about noon. The passerby saw something suspicious and smoking. Upon closer examination he discovered it was a body.
Foul play has not been ruled out.
