CONTRIBUTION · 13th December 2011
On December 8, Santa Claus dropped in Skeena Kalum Housing for milk and cookies with families on the South Side of town (since he was having a slow day).
He is in full agreement that he should not just land at Malls. He promised to come back next year to Ksan Place.
Kids – big and little – got to chat with Santa and each received a little early Christmas present. The reindeer were all too shy to have their pictures taken!
This is the fourth year Ksan Society has hosted this event. Many thanks to Santa’s helpers Arlene, Darlene and Elaine.
Pictured above with Santa are Krista (3 years old) and Brandy (5 years old), daughters of Mike Russel.

It was a very special afternoon. Don't forget cookies and milk close to the chimney. Merry Christmas to all.
Yippee to the South Side.

Diggin' Santa digging the South Side - my childhood neighborhood and where I chose to purchase my first home and where I live to this day.
'Nice of Santa to say he doesn't just pull Mall trips. Perhaps Mayor Pernarowski will come thru with his election vision to build a walking overpass from the South Side to Downtown Terrace so the very many of us South Side residents without transportation can take a bit of a shortcut to mingle with the rest of the population in downtown Terrace without dragging the kids on a looooooooong walk to get there.
Beautiful pics of the little girls! They look so happy!
Thanks for hosting this K'San.
